The NextSteps Dashboard
Welcome to the NextSteps dashboard, a powerful tool designed to help you create and manage interactive journeys for sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and engaging your audience. This guide will walk you through the key features and functionalities of the dashboard, ensuring you can make the most of this innovative platform.
Dashboard Overview
The NextSteps dashboard is the central hub for all your journey management activities. It's designed with user-friendliness and security in mind, providing a seamless experience for individual users and teams alike.
Team Management
At the top of the dashboard, you'll find your team name prominently displayed. This is the name you chose when setting up your account. Adjacent to the team name is the team members section, where you can view and manage your team.
Adding Team Members
- Locate the team members section next to your team name.
- Enter the email address associated with the NextSteps account of the person you want to add.
- Click "Add" to include them in your team.
Team Settings
To rename your team or create a new one:
- Click on the menu icon next to the team profile photos.
- Select "Rename Team" or "Create New Team" as needed.
Security Features

- Clicking "Discover" will always bring you back to the main NextSteps dashboard.

Profile
In the Profile section, you can personalize your NextSteps experience:
- Adjust email preferences to control notifications and updates.

Journey Management
Initial Setup
When you first access your dashboard, you'll notice a placeholder journey. This is provided as an example to help you understand the journey structure.
Deleting Journeys
If you wish to remove the placeholder journey or any other journey:
- Locate the journey you want to delete.
- Click on the delete option (usually represented by a trash can icon).
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Trash and Recovery
NextSteps features a trash system for deleted journeys:
- All deleted journeys are moved to the trash.
- Journeys in the trash can be recovered if needed, providing a safety net against accidental deletions.
To recover a deleted journey:
- Navigate to the trash section (usually found in the dashboard or settings).
- Locate the journey you wish to recover.
- Click on the recover option to restore the journey to your active list.
